Top 4 Places to Visit in Europe

Many people might tell you places you must go to in Europe include the Louvre Museum because it has Leonardo da Vinci’s most famous art piece known as Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is enclosed in a glass box, with a enormous crowd always around it. To me the Louvre is very overrated and a waste of time to see the Mona Lisa from 50 feet away in a glass box. My top 4 places to you might actually want to consider when traveling to Europe are:

#4 France

From my experience France is a beautiful place to visit. From the mountains to the stores France offers is worth going. The site to see in France is the Eiffel Tower located in Paris. The Eiffel Tower, when lit up at night, is something a picture can’t do its justice.

#3 Netherlands

The Netherlands to me seems like one of those places people overlook when traveling to Europe. Holland have some old colorful windmills that you can go in. The place to go see windmills would be the Zaanse Schans. These windmills are located near the water and have a peaceful atmosphere.

Another place to go is Amsterdam as the Anne Frank House is located there. You are really able to see how Anne and her family had to live through.

#2 Italy

Venice, Italy is a unique place to visit. Seeing streets filled with water is a site to see in person. Not only do you need to see the streets of Venice, you would need to try their amazing food. The pizza and pastas are undeniably fantastic. Italy also is the home to the Colosseum in Rome. The Colosseum is a historical place that you would need to visit.

#1 Germany

My favorite place to visit was Germany. Germany is filled with WWII monuments like the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and he D-Day beaches. Seeing the other side of the war instead of the American version is important in our world history. Other things to do in Germany include Brandenburg Gate and many castles.
